KBS MCA, effective learning is provided by blending theory and practice. Emphasis is laid on enabling the students understand the concept and its implementation in different applications helping them to develop an analytical bend of mind.

KBSMCA offers three years, full time Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) degree from Gujarat Technological University (G.T.U.). The curriculum is well structured and balanced and provides a complete insight on vast arena of computer sciences.

The MCA programme aims at creating future software developers and administrators with insight to match the pace of fast Information and Communication Technology revolution. Through their expertise achieved under suitable guidance from the leaders of the society and the well learned faculty, these budding professionals bloom into dependable, skillful and effective developers. They are taught to contribute to the organization through their impeccable service and leadership. The course provides specialized focus in the fields of Biometrics, Advanced Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, DBMS and many more.

The course starts with an introduction to the complex world of computer technology in a simple and easy manner. The combination of various teaching techniques enable the student develop a deep understanding with a vast knowledge base, improves communication and presentation skills, persuasion & team building skills.

Presentations and seminars :

Regular presentations and seminars are organized to inculcate and improve upon the professional adroitness by focusing on communication skills and overall development of students and preparing them for future by being pro-active and analytical in seeking, acquiring and sharing knowledge.

Workshops:

Workshops and seminars conducted by experts and specialist are organized, for faculty and students hone their skills and be updated to match the IT and automation revolution. Learning from the specialized knowledge accompanied by enriched experience of connoisseur helps in enhancing and sharpening technological skills.

Guest Lectures with Interactive sessions:

Guest Lectures with Interactive sessions very effectively inform, inspire and stimulate the students. They provide an enriched academic intake of classroom contents by giving practical insight into the subject. Interactions help in producing the multi-faceted talent with knowledge and analytical approach towards the academically acquired knowledge.

Case Studies and Experiential Learning :

Technological case studies, application of postulates are used to illustrate the theoretical setting and environmental characteristics of real world technical implementation. At KBS the students are given various cases to study indepth, analyze and discuss the facts amongst the students and faculty and come out with multiple solutions, leading to the most optimal one. At KBS theoretical knowledge is augmented with equal proportion of programming implementation. Through expert guidance by experienced faculty, the students are encouraged to be hard core programmer, using real world problems.

Personality Development & initiative :

All round development of students is ensured by encouraging & motivating them for various activities by celebrating various occasions like Teacher’s Day, Traditional Day and other academic events like Teachers Day, Annual Day celebration (For all college of OET with gathering of 5000+), Traditional Day, picnics, Induction weeks technical games, quizzes etc.

  • “State level paper presentation & Debugging Competition on the theme “Latest IT Trends” in Mar 2009, organized by H. J. Doshi Mahila College Jamnagar.
  • “State level Programming Contest and paper Presentation Competition, held at G. H. Patel. P. G. Deptt of Comp Sc and Tech, Vallabh Vidyanagar “Latest IT Trends” in Feb 2010.

The admission to MBA Program is being done through Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE.
